Lobo Louie
Location-based mobile game
This was a group project done for a class with a small team. The project was to design and storyboard a game for a group of individuals. Our group decided to help out English as a second language students at the University of New Mexico in getting to know the campus. This location-based game was designed with students' interests in mind and utilized gamification elements.Â
This product demonstrates my knowledge in designing games and my knowledge about scaffolding learners in a new topic, in this case, language.
Coaching proposal
For a StarCraft 2 clan
This was an individual project done for Organizational Theory and Learning class. I designed a coaching methodology and call to action of sorts to aid my StarCraft 2 clan. Esports is becoming a larger part of modern society, and a StarCraft 2 clan will attempt to extend the legacy of this multiplayer real-time strategy game.
This product demonstrates my own theory behind coaching and research into esports. It relates to my interest in esports and gaming. It evidences my involvement with the esports community.
AR headset instructions
For Daqri headset setup
This was a team project done for a client(Intel) that deals with users who use Daqri AR helmets. The end product was a supplemental user manual that included links to the videos originally included with the Daqri helmets. I learned a lot about instructional design through this project.
This product demonstrates my knowledge behind Augmented reality and certain pieces of cutting-edge technology. It displays my passion for technology and learning.
